First, Register as a member. You don't have to register in order to read what's been posted by others; but, if you try to post a reply, or upload a file, and you're not logged in as a member, then the site will ask you to prove that you're a human (with one of those funny word "capcha" dialog boxes).
So, you don't have to register; but it's easier for you if you do.
Note that the Help page is very helpful; it's at the top bar, just to the right of Home. Check it out!
Then go to the page: chebeague.freeforums.net; log in; select a board, then select a thread. Or, you can click on the short link for the thread, at the right side of the page.
When you're in a board, you can also create a Thread - this is one way you can start or continue a conversation. When you start a Thread you should find yourself in a document creation window; to include photos, just click Add Attachment; browse to the file you want to add, then add a few words in the main dialog box. Once you click Create Thread, the photo should show up on that Thread when someone visits it.
Call Bob (0924) if you have questions during setup or if you have problems creating a Thread, etc.
Want to add a Board to an existing Category? Email Bob at bob963@me.com - it's pretty easy for Bob to add a Board. For example, John might want to add a Board called "Pigs and Wine" to the Category called Food Animals.
If you want to add a Category - that is, a broad area of discussion - just send Bob an email (at bob963@me.com). For example, Chip might want to add a Category called Fruit Trees.
As the number of Categories grows, or as the number of Boards within a Category grows, the Administrator might choose to rearrange the hierarchy - he or she might change a Board into a Category, for example. Feel free to send the Administrator emails suggesting ways to organize things.
